Today I have been catching up on a free series on NLP or Neuro-linguistic Programming. It’s The Ultimate You Mindfest that is a free week-long series of reprogramming your brain for higher success. The sessions are free for this week only and I’m just going through them now. If you have some free time you can listen to them yourself. Retraining your brain to remove limiting beliefs is a very powerful thing indeed. And learning to have better self-talk is also the key to ultimate success. We don’t realize the hours of self-sabotaging inner dialogs we have going on nonstop on this subconscious level. The mind is a powerful thing, the subconscious mind even more powerful.
Left to its own devices, the subconscious mind can either keep you in a holding pattern of never succeeding habits or simply drive you crazy.
You have until the 10:30 Eastern Standard US Time on Monday to view these free sessions. After that they are through purchase only. I’m taking the time to review all of them today. Presented by Paul R Scheele from Learning Strategies.
To paraphrase from the first day’s session on “Success by Design, Eliminate Procrastination and Hesitation” is that really successful people find something they really love. Then they learn or work at getting really good at that specific love. They find a way to get really, really, really good at what they love to do.
Hm? If you have been reading my other articles like Following Your Dreams Series, and you have seen my entry on my intentions for 2012, then you’ll also know that music, the guitar-playing and singing are two passions that I have found over the the past year. And on the the things I have been juggling to do while doing this 30 day trial of blogging about and exploring passive income.
The Universe is leaving me clues. More on that subject and the music to come. For now, I’m back to the The Ultimate You Mindfest.
And as I mentioned in my entry, here, that sometimes your find that thing that scares you, the one you keep failing at, but have a passion for, and you pursue it with the desire of getting really good at it for the satisfaction of it, then you might find a way to turn that experience, that passion, that personal success into a stream of passive (or active) income.
I know that one such “issue” for me is the music. Maybe the Universe is leaving you clues as to where you should develop an idea, a skill and perhaps an ultimate stream of passive income.
